The team at Specsavers Hove have been busy sorting through their unwanted makeup and bath smellies for a really good cause.
And now everything that they have collected will be donated to a non-profit campaign called Give and Make Up which supports the charities Refuge and Women’s Aid in London and Cardiff.
The donations are used as part of an outreach programme to support women who are escaping domestic violence.
A word from the store manager
Sarah Edwards, store manager in Hove said: ‘All of us have beauty products at home which we don’t use, and we were all surprised to discover how many we had as a team.
‘It is great to know that the items will be collected will be used to help women who may have had to leave their homes without all of the things that we take for granted. I would encourage everyone reading this to check their bathroom, and even their handbag, and support this great cause too.’
