Hove opticians go the distance for the British Heart Foundation
Staff in Hove will be taking part in the London to Brighton Cycle Ride on Sunday 19 June in a bid to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Making a difference
Three members of the team will be cycling the 54 miles from Clapham Common in London to the Brighton sea front. Store director and keen cyclist, Charles Forshaw, will be joined by colleagues Adam Fuller and Ulrich Wildermann, who are both enthusiastic amateur cyclists.
Great day out
Store director, Charles Forshaw, said: ‘None of us have taken part in a cycle ride the distance of the London to Brighton. It’ll be a real challenge for all of us but we’re thrilled to know that we’ll be making a valuable contribution to a cause that is close to all of our hearts.’
The British Heart Foundation is a charity focussed on combatting coronary heart disease, the UK’s single biggest killer. Through investing in pioneering research into cardiovascular disease and providing quality care the charity supports and transforms the lives of those affected by heart and circulatory conditions.
