Hospice fundraising at Canvey Island opticians
Canvey Island eyecare experts are launching a month-long fundraising initiative for Havens Hospices.
The team from Specsavers in Canvey Island will kick off a prize raffle in the Furtherwick Road store on Saturday 17 October, with all proceeds going towards the special cause.
A word from the store director
Lee Hansford, store director of the opticians in Furtherwick Road, said: ‘Residents nominated Havens Hospices as our charity partner at the turn of the year and we are continuing to champion this important local cause. These hospices have cared for tens of thousands of people in our area and rely on the support of the community to help raise £100,000 every week to continue to provide their invaluable services
‘If you’re passing the store, why not take part in our prize draw and show your support for this worthy cause.’
