Hospice benefits from money raised by Stafford Specsavers
The team at Specsavers in Stafford have presented a donation of £350 to Katharine House Hospice, following fundraising in store.
Customers wishing to make a contribution towards specs MOTs (adjustments and repairs) – which the store offers as a complimentary service – were instead encouraged to make a donation to the hospice. In total £350 was raised from customers’ donations.
Jason Guy, store director, said: ‘We’re incredibly grateful to our customers for being so generous and we are really pleased to be supporting Katharine House Hospice. Hopefully, the money raised from our specs MOT service can be used to help out more good causes like this in the future.’
Katharine House Hospice works across mid-Staffordshire to provide care for those with advanced life-limiting conditions and helps to support those close to them.
