Specsavers Holloway help to keep local children safe
Specsavers Holloway donated 200 high-visibility vests to children at Grafton Primary School in a bid to help kids stay safe near roads.
Pushing Road Safety Week
The store donated the free high-visibility vests to promote the importance of road safety, in conjunction with the charity Brake’s initiative Road Safety Week (17 – 23 November).
Holloway store director
Store director Natasha Rathour said: ‘Now that the days are shorter and with Holloway being a busy place for cars, we want to help make sure that children are as visible to drivers as possible.’
The charity's work
Brake, the national road safety charity, exists to help prevent deaths and injuries which happen on roads every day.
The charity also promotes safe and sustainable road use and works hard to encourage organisations and governments to implement effective road safety policies.
