Hertfordshire has specs appeal
Out of 150 Hertfordshire hopefuls who entered the Spectacle Wearer of the Year competition in 2017, one has made it through.
£10,000 cash prize
County entrants submitted their best specs selfies to be in with a chance of being crowned Spectacle Wearer of the Year and scoop a £10,000 cash prize.
Now the sartorial regional finalists have been picked, including the fashion-forward Annie Hawkins from Hertford. It won’t be long until Annie and semi-finalists across the country find out if they’re through to the next stage where they’ll meet, Nadine Coyle at the celeb-packed awards ceremony at London’s 8 Northumberland Avenue on 10 October.
