Audiologists at Specsavers in Sudbury gave free hearing tests to members of a local choir last week to make sure they had perfect pitch for their upcoming concert.

£1,600 raised by the pitch-perfect choir

Two members of the Sudbury Sings choir, Marc Swainston and Fiona Yerofeyev, are also part of the team at the local hearing experts and opticians, and suggested their choral comrades take up the offer of free hearing checks before the show, which raised went on to raise £1,600 for the Salvation Army at St Peter’s Church on Sunday 17 June.

Hearing tests free

Audiology director of Specsavers in Sudbury, Westly Fox said: ‘Singers always make sure to warm up their voices before a performance, so why not warm up your hearing – or at least make sure everything is in check. We offer free hearing tests in store so there was no cost to any of the choir. We are looking forward to supporting the choir in the future.’
