A long serving member of staff at the Dundee and Arbroath stores is celebrating becoming a fully qualified hearing aid dispenser.

Optical and hearing expertise

Elaine Moore joined Specsavers five years ago in an optical role. She snapped up the opportunity to undertake hearing training and become part of the team at Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists in Dundee.

Elaine began her career at Specsavers as an optical assistant at Specsavers in Arbroath. She was offered the opportunity to complete the Queen Margaret University course after store directors Jamie Buchan and Kenny Johnston spotted her potential. Elaine continues to visit the Arbroath store to conduct its regular hearing clinics for locals in the town.

Stephen Kelman, director of audiology at Specsavers Audiologists in Dundee, said: ‘Elaine is a fantastic member of our team who is very experienced and always happy to help our customers in any way she can.
