The team at Specsavers in Market Street doffed their caps as they raised awareness and funds for Headway Guernsey.
The charity, which supports those who suffer brain injuries, hosts the event every year to mark the culmination of Action for Brain Injury Week.
Royal wedding twist
Staff members had fun wearing silly hats for the annual event, which this year had a royal wedding twist, to celebrate Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s big day.
Money was raised through both customer donations and a store donation. Specsavers store director Sarah Burchett was delighted with the amount raised. ‘This was a fun way to raise awareness of a very worthy charity here in Guernsey,' she said. 'We have a really good relationship with Headway Guernsey and they're a lovely group of people to work with and support.
‘As a team we’re so pleased that we raised more than £150 to help Headway Guernsey continue with the vital services it provides the community.’
