Harrogate employee runs 10K for ovarian cancer charity

Clare Rogers from Specsavers in Harrogate is taking part in the Leeds Abbey Dash this weekend in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer.

In-store support
The team at Specsavers in Harrogate are behind Clare all the way, and have been collecting donations in the run up to the event on Sunday 16 November.

Official Target Ovarian Cancer boxes are on display in the store and so far over £300 has been collected for the charity.

A word from Clare
Clare, a dispensing optician, said: ‘I’m really pleased to be taking part in the Abbey Dash and to be raising money for such a good cause.

‘I’ve been training hard for the last few weeks and now I can’t wait to get started. The support I’ve had from the Specsavers team and from our loyal customers has been fantastic and I’m determined to make everyone proud.’
