Staff also made a spectacle of themselves by dressing up and taking some fun selfies. Director Sarah Flowers with trainee Adam Ovid embraced the moment with this picture - all for a great cause!
About Blind Veterans UK
Since it was founded in 1915, Blind Veterans UK has offered support, training and rehabilitation to blind and vision-impaired ex-Service men and women. The charity’s mission is to ensure that all blind veterans have access to the finest quality services to help them discover life beyond sight loss. Specsavers Harlow store director, Sarah Flowers says: ‘This is a charity very close to the team’s heart. We were delighted to play our small part here and really appreciate customers and shoppers buying our cakes to help raise funds. We are one of many national stores that took part, so every the £1 donation really does make a big difference.”
