Twenty five years on the high street is a pretty impressive accolade which is why Specsavers in Eastleigh held a spectacular street party to mark its birthday on 22 October.

TV ad personality got the crowds going!
Actress Hayley Jo-Witney who plays the high-energy fitness instructor in one of the 'Should've Gone to Specsavers' TV ad made a special appearance and got the team, customers, and residents of Eastleigh shaking off those cobwebs with a bit of a routine!

Free presents, facepainting and charitable donations
Customers were treated to some fun in the store.  Free refreshments were readily available and children were able to enjoy the face painting service laid on.  Birthday presents were made available to those who purchased frames on the day, and fund raising activities supported local charities - Starlight Children's Foundation and Naomi's House

A thank you from Specsavers in Eastleigh
tore director Amy Jenkins was delighted to host the party to thank the community. She says: ‘When our doors first opened 25 years ago, customers were pleased to see greater frame choice and unrivalled value on their high street. Over the years, we have evolved considerably, becoming renowned for our professional expertise and offering the community some fantastic industry innovations. Our party was one small way of expressing our gratitude.'

Lastly, one small nod was made to the 1990s when the store first opened.  The team dressed up in their best 1990s fashion, and many were glad to report they could still fit into the clothes!
