Members of staff from Specsavers in Cheltenham recently joined forces with the Cheltenham Science Group to run an activity session for local youngsters.
Healthy eyes and ears
The team organised a variety of optical and hearing-themed games for 30 children, and spoke to them about the importance of healthy eyes and ears.
Emily Ashman, PR co-ordinator at the store who helped run the activities, said: ‘We’re so pleased to have had the opportunity to run a session at the Cheltenham Science Group and hope the children enjoyed it as much as we did. Sessions like these are a great way to not only teach children about what an opticians does, but to also get them interested in learning about eyes and ears.’
