Specsavers in Hamilton is preparing to unveil its new look following a £250,000 revamp.
The Quarry Street store is now equipped with an additional test room, state-of-the-art technology and equipment, and has been remodelled to create more floorspace for staff and customers.
The transformation has also generated three new jobs, with a full-time optometrist, full-time optical assistant and weekend optical assistant soon joining the team.
A word from our store director
Store director Emma Foster and the team will host a relaunch party day on 31 August. Emma said: ‘We’re a big part of the community here in Hamilton and it’s important that our store reflects the fantastic service we offer customers across optical and audiology.
‘We have invested £250,000 to enhance the Specsavers experience for our customers in a modern, state-of-the-art environment. All of our test rooms have been kitted out with cutting-edge testing equipment, including new field test technology which complies with DVLA testing requirements.
‘We’re thrilled to be unveiling our new-look store and looking forward to celebrating with new and existing customers.’
The retail areas on both floors have been refurbished and redecorated, and an additional 200 frames will be on display in the remodelled store.
New automatic doors will assist customers with mobility issues, and staff and customers will also benefit from the introduction of state-of-the-art dispensing platforms incorporating tablet technology.
The store’s full clinic diary is now available online.
