Shepherds Bush optical experts raised a three figure sum for Guide Dogs during an in-store fundraising drive.
Specsavers in Shepherds Bush raised the cash in aid of the charity during its annual awareness week by hosting a bake sale for residents and customers.
A word from the store director
Rebecca Burgess, store director at Specsavers in Shepherds Bush, said: ‘A Guide Dog costs around £50,000 throughout its life, and provides priceless mobility and freedom to someone who is blind or partially sighted. As eyecare specialists, we’re proud that the money raised in store will help to create more of these important partnerships. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and donated.’
