Two brothers from Greenock are enjoying tucking into a luxury Easter egg after finding the store’s golden bug during its Easter bug hunt.

Aaron and Oliver Turner secured the top prize as well as a new pair of designer specs for their dad David, worth £125.

Bug hunt

The opticians invited local children to find fifty fluffy green bugs which were hidden around Clyde Square, alongside one special golden bug.

Children who presented the bugs to staff at the Oak Mall Shopping Centre store were rewarded with a chocolatey treat and the finder of the golden bug won the extra-special prize.

Family fun

Jonathan Dry, director of Specsavers in Greenock, said: ‘We’d like to thank everyone who took part in our bug hunt.

‘Both staff and customers thoroughly enjoyed the day and it was fantastic to award the luxury Easter egg to Aaron and Oliver.’
