The eyecare specialists at Specsavers in Greenock are encouraging locals to take care of their eyes and ensure their health checks are up to date as Autumn begins.

With darker nights creeping in, the team at the Greenock store hope that people will take their advice to get their eyes checked and stay safe this season.

Steven O’Halloran, store director at Specsavers in Greenock, said: ‘It’s important to look after your eyes all year round and Autumn is an ideal time to check your prescription is up to date.

We tend to advise customers to have their eyes checked at least once every two years, as examinations not only detect changes in your vision but also underlying health issues.’
