Optical experts from Grays went back to school to teach pupils all about eyes and eyesight.

Young people at Treetops Specialist School and College in the town learned about the anatomy of the eye, colour blindness and living with partial sight during the interactive session with eyecare specialists from Specsavers in Grays.

Niki Kaur, store director at Specsavers in Grays, said: ‘Pupils came to the session with great questions and knowledge about the eye which they had learned from their classroom curriculum. We’d like to thank them and the school for their hospitality and we hope to visit again soon.’

Head teacher, Mark Smith added: ‘Pupils thoroughly enjoyed the lesson delivered by our friends from Specsavers. They were really interested and engaged in the topic. A big thank you to everyone involved.’
