Children at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School were visited by Grantham store director, Bijal Ladva on Thursday 1 October for an eye-opening lesson on optometry and eye health.

An in-sight-full lesson

Bijal treated Year 6 pupils to an interactive class covering the anatomy of the eye, optometry equipment and caring for eye health.

Mr Ladva said: ‘I feel privileged to share my knowledge with children and help them to look after their eyes. It’s really important to have your eyes tested regularly when growing up and I would urge parents to take their children to an optician if they haven’t before.’
