Glenrothes opticians turn pink for Breast Cancer Care
To mark Breast Cancer Awareness month, Specsavers Glenrothes raised funds for Breast Cancer Care and presented the charity with a cheque for £305.
The Kingdom Shopping Centre based opticians and audiologists sold charity pin badges, pink wrist bands and held a raffle, while also collecting donations in aid of Breast Cancer Care.
The raffle was packed with prizes including tickets to a Fife Flyers match, St Andrews Links golf bag, Warren James and Jessop jewellery as well as cinema, hairdressing and ice skating vouchers.
Big thank you Specsavers
Glenrothes store director, Stewart Wilson, said: ‘Choosing to support Breast Cancer Care was important to us as it is a cause close to the heart of many of the store team.
‘We are thrilled to be able to present the charity with this cheque and I’d like to thank everyone for their generous donations and to the businesses who contributed to our fantastic raffle prize offering.’
