Specsavers in Montrose has donated a selection of hi-vis vests to a local primary school choir to ensure they stay safe between performances.

Safety First

Borrowfield Primary School’s Glee choir actively visit care homes within the community to perform to residents. The hi-vis vests will help the youngsters stay safe on darker afternoons and evenings when travelling between care homes and other similar performances.

A Word from the Store Director

Bridgeen Johnston, store director at Specsavers Montrose, said: ‘The Glee choir at Borrowfield Primary is an absolute credit to the school and the community.

‘We are delighted to be able to support them.

‘I believe the hi-vis vests came in handy throughout the festive season when the children were Christmas carolling but they will also be ideal for any school trips.’
