A trio of Glasgow opticians are among the first in Scotland to be recognised for outstanding people management standards and receive a Platinum Employer Award.
Specsavers Byres Road, Glasgow Fort and Sauchiehall Street recently received the externally validated accreditation, highlighting their dedication to staff and employees within the company.
The overall aim of Platinum Employer is to recognise a business for providing a great overall employee experience. The scheme focuses on five key areas which are talent management, recruitment and induction, performance management and reward, learning and development and lastly employee communications and engagement.
Aiming to raise the bar of people management standards, the Platinum Employer initiative helps ensure Specsavers is ‘famous as a great place to work’.
