Nuneaton wave for Comic Relief
The team at Specsavers in Nuneaton are hosting a red-themed day to raise funds for Comic Relief on Red Nose Day (Friday 24 March).
Members of staff will be ditching their usual uniforms in favour of red outfits and are inviting customers to get involved with the fundraising.
Every penny counts
Store director Bhavna Hughes said: ‘Comic Relief is a fantastic charity and one that we’re always keen to support. Every penny we raise will be donated, so I’d like to encourage all of our customers to visit us on the day and get stuck in!’
Customers are also encouraged to take part in this year’s Comic Relief theme on social media, using the #GiveUsAWave with the official Specsavers’ Red Nose Day specs. Just take a waving selfie while wearing the glasses and post it with the hashtag to receive a wave back.
Specsavers in Nuneaton has joined Specsavers stores nationwide to support Comic Relief to help poor and vulnerable people living tough lives both here in the UK and across Africa and pledged to raise at least £250,000 for the charity.
Specsavers has been a Comic Relief partner since 2015.
