Belfast's Ann Street Specsavers store recently got in on the Giro D’Italia fever that swept over Northern Ireland by hosting an in store competition to be in with a chance of winning a Motion Typhoon 2 Racing bike.

The store purchased the Motion Typhoon 2 bike, from Cycleology in Armagh (worth over £500).

Customers who visited the Ann Street store throughout the month of May and took the opportunity of the 2 for 1 glasses offer were automatically entered into the draw to be in with a chance of winning this fabulous bike.

Great response

Neal Kerr, store director, said: ‘We thought this would be an excellent chance to get involved in the Giro D’Italia which had its Big Start and Stages 1, 2 and 3 in Northern Ireland.

Great to see Northern Ireland televised across the globe

Who knows when such a prestigious and well-known race, the second largest in the world, will be back in Northern Ireland, if ever, and it was great to see the province being televised in such a great way across the globe.

‘We had so many people entering our in store competition with over 700 people availing of the 241 offer. All of the staff were delighted to present our competition winner, Joanne Curran, and her daughter Caoilainn with the prize.'
