Specsavers Gillingham staff have outdone their baking skills to help raise £165 for Children in Need.

Sweet treats for donations

Store staff rolled up their sleeves to bake an array of sweet treats to sell in store for donations to the charity, which helps change the lives of disabled children and young people in the UK. Customer could also take part in a ‘Guess How Many Lego Pieces’ competition and staff members dressed up to encourage more donations.

Generous community in Gillingham

Specsavers Gillingham store director, Craig Holland said: ‘It was great seeing everyone joining in to help raise money for Children in Need.

‘Staff donned their Pudsey ears and baked some delicious treats to get as many donations as possible from the public. We’d like to thank the Gillingham community for their generosity and are proud we could contribute to helping the charity continue their fantastic work.’
