Ghostly goings on generate pounds
There were some ghostly goings on at an Evesham opticians and all to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
The team at Specsavers in Evesham on Bridge Street ditched their uniforms for less appealing attire as they embraced Halloween, raising £368.28 for the charity. Visitors enjoyed a range of spook-tacular baked goods and took part in a raffle, with the winner Geoff Wood taking home an extra-large scary cake.
A word from the store director
‘The team and our customers seemed to really enjoy the spooky goings on and it’s great that we managed to tie this in with our fundraising,’ said Amy Liau, store director.
