Specsavers in West Bridgford is hosting a colouring competition for youngsters to celebrate the launch of a new range of Disney glasses.
The team is inviting children to get creative and channel their inner Elsa or Olaf by entering the store’s colouring competition. With a pair of Frozen specs up for grabs, the competition will run from 2 September until 16 September, with the winning entry being displayed in store.
‘Our new Frozen specs are a great way to help kids feel more comfortable wearing glasses,’ said Stephen Rogers, store director. ‘We’ll be looking forward to welcoming children and their parents into the store to pick up a competition entry sheet and try on the new specs.’
Specsavers has teamed up with Disney UK to launch the collection of four new styles, which will be available in store from Wednesday 2 September. Priced at £64 and free for under-16s with an NHS optical voucher, children can also choose an additional free pair of frames as part of Specsavers’ kids get two free pairs offer. So whether your little one wants to ‘Let It Go’ or build a snowman there is a pair of specs for every occasion.
At Specsavers all under-16s get a free NHS eye test. All glasses in Specsavers’ kids’ £64 and teens’ £85 ranges are free with under-16s’ NHS funding. Specs wearers can also choose a second pair from the £64 or £85 range, free. Both pairs can come with SuperTough Trivex® single vision lenses with a scratch-resistant treatment, or tinted prescription lenses and a UV filter free in the second pair.
