Genuinely the best service I've encountered
We were extremely happy to receive this letter of thanks from one of our long term, valued customers:
'I'm writing to you today just to place on record how particularly impressed I was, and continue to be, with the customer service. This is particularly apparent with one of your members of staff, Angela. Just last week I was in to replace my contact lenses as I do consistently over the years.
On this particular occasion that I was in store, and as I notice each time, the standard, speed and professionalism of customer service carried out by Angela is of the highest order. I have been living in Brussels for the last two years and in five or six countries due to professional reasons.
Yet it’s telling that I still don’t move my custom to local opticians and make a point of going every three months or so to the Abbey Centre branch when home. That’s because they’re genuinely the best service I’ve encountered - whether on the phone or in store I get extremely well looked after in terms or orders, deliveries, prescription updates, etc.
It’s quite something that it’s made more comfortable to keep dealing with my branch 1,000km away than a local one in Europe. It’s precisely those standards of customer service, knowledge and courtesy which are the reasons I don’t move my custom. I’d be very confident that many customers react similarly.
