Fundraising in Farnborough for Guide Dogs
Specsavers in Farnborough have raised over £3,000 for Guide Dogs UK.
Hitting target by Guide Dogs Week
Specsavers, located at the Princes Mead Centre, has been encouraging donations for the charity since last year and is keen to hit a £5,000 target by Guide Dogs Week in October.
Store director Danny Solel said: ‘If we make it to £5,000, we’ll be able to sponsor a guide dog through its training which will make a huge difference to someone’s life.
Continued support from the Farnborough community
In total, we’ve raised £3,409.00 and are keen for our community to continue helping us to support this wonderful charity. Guide Dogs does amazing work for blind and partially sighted people so we’re fully behind their campaign to make a difference.’
Guide Dogs UK provides mobility for people who are blind and partially sighted, campaigns for the rights of people with visual impairment and funds eye disease research.
