Specsavers Middleton holding a competition to raise money for an ill child
Specsavers in Middleton is holding a competition to win two pairs of designer sunglasses to raise money for local girl Charlotte Robertson.
Staff are raising money to help six year old Charlotte, who suffers from cerebral palsy, receive the operation she needs to give her a chance to walk independently for the first time.
The store is selling raffle tickets in store up until July 17th for £1 each, with the two winners receiving a pair of designer sunglasses worth up to £125 each.
Charlotte, and her family are hoping to raise enough money to send her to the USA for the crucial operation.
Store director Krupal Sheth said: ‘As a store, we’re always hoping to support the community in any way we can, and when we heard about the work Charlotte’s family were doing, we knew we had to get involved.
‘We’re hoping our customers and the people of Middleton will come down to the store this weekend and get involved.
‘We’ll be collecting money in store up until the 17th, so any customers who would like to do their part can buy their raffle ticket from a member of staff.’
