A number of UK Specsavers stores are supporting Guide Dogs Week by donating £1 from every eye examination to the charity. Specsavers has been proud to support Guide Dogs since 2003 and has pledged to raise £250,000 for the charity, to fund the training of 25 guide dog puppies.

Guide Dogs works tirelessly to provide mobility and freedom to blind and partially sighted people. Guide Dogs also campaigns for the rights of people with visual impairment, educates the public about eye care and funds eye disease research.

The fundraising week runs from 5 October until 13 October and the following stores will be taking part in the eye test donation initiative.
