Fun for all the family at Specsavers in Coatbridge
The team at Specsavers in Coatbridge are hosting a fantastic fundraiser in aid of a very worthy cause in September. The store are aiming to raise awareness and vital funds for Calum’s Cabin, a charity set up in memory of Calum Speirs.
Calum lost his fight for life a year after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. The charity provides luxury retreats for children with cancer and their families to escape to and make treasured memories with their loved ones.
Lots to keep the family entertained
The fundraiser will be filled with lots of fun activities for all the family including face painting, hook duck fishing and a raffle. For those with a sweet tooth there will be a home baking stall stacked with goodies and a slush puppy machine.
The Coatbridge store located on the Main Street will host the fundraiser this Saturday 12 September from 10am.
A cause close to our hearts
Andrew McGonagle, store director at Specsavers Coatbridge, said: ‘We have received great support from our customers at previous fundraising events so we hope we will welcome lots of visitors to the store this weekend.
Calum's Cabin is a great cause and one that is close to the hearts of our members of staff. We hope our fun days will help to raise awareness of this important cause and enable us to make a fantastic donation.’
