The team at Specsavers Fulham handed out discount vouchers and information on the importance of regular sight checks

Staff at Specsavers in Fulham took to the streets to offer local children valuable information about sight and eye health.

Importance of regular sight checks

The team took part in a local business event by handing out leaflets and information to educate Fulham residents about the importance of regular sight checks.

Golden tickets offering 50% off customers’ total bills and £5 sight test vouchers were also given out, as well as colouring books and pens.

A word from the director

Store director, Bryan Chakowa, said: ‘Children’s eyes are most likely to be affected by UV damage in the first eight years of their lives, so we wanted to educate as many Fulham people as possible about the risks.

‘It was great to see so many residents on the day and we hope that by offering discounted sight checks and money off vouchers we will encourage more families into store over the summer to ensure they have healthy eyes.’
