Specsavers in Lerwick is running a Christmas colouring competition where two lucky youngsters will win fantastic movie-themed prizes.
The annual local Winter Festival will mark the launch of the colouring competition, which returns for another year, and encourages youngsters to get creative. The store team will be handing out balloons and gift bags with a colouring in entry form, leaflets and other Specsavers merchandise as the Winter Parade passes the store on Saturday 28 November.
Colouring in sheets can also be collected from the store throughout December. All completed entries should be returned to the Shetland store before Christmas Eve when the winners will be announced. There will be two winners picked from the entries with fantastic Minions and Frozen-themed gifts up for grabs. The prize includes a board game, playing cards, colouring pack and a 3D jigsaw of the mischievous little yellow characters or Disney princesses. A range of cuddly toys will be awarded to a few lucky runners up.
Fantastic kids range
Specsavers in Lerwick has a great range of children’s frames, with the competition celebrating the launch of new Frozen and Minions kids ranges now available in-store.
Frames are priced at £64 or are free for under-16s with an NHS optical voucher. All frames in the new range come with flex-hinges and SuperTough lenses. Plus, children can also choose an additional free pair of frames in the Specsavers ‘kids two free pairs’ offer.
Call out for creative youngsters
Thomas Bruin, store director at Specsavers Lerwick, says: ‘We are encouraging all the local children to get creative and show off their artistic skills on our colouring in designs.
‘The new Minions frames are a fantastic addition to our kids range and are sure to be a popular choice. It’s great to mark the new range launch with an activity that youngsters can get involved with.’
