Clevedon Specsavers will be helping to spread festive cheer as it sponsors Clevedon Ice Fair on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December.

The store has donated £500 towards the event which has been organised by local voluntary group Clevedon Pride. Taking place in Queens Square over two days, visitors will be able to try their hand at ice skating, while Christmassy stalls and activities will ensure fun for the whole family.

‘With Christmas just around the corner, the Ice Fair will help to bring the community together and mark the start of the festive season,’ said Emma Perrigo, store director. ‘Besides the ice rink, there will be plenty of activities to get involved in so we hope to see lots of people come along to enjoy it.

‘Clevedon Pride does some fantastic work locally and they’ve done a great job organising the Ice Fair, so we’re really proud to be involved and are looking forward to strapping on our skates!’

Clevedon Ice Fair will take place at Queens Square on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December. Visitors are invited to come along over the weekend to browse the stalls and get involved in activities. Ice skating costs £4 per person and tickets are available via Mike Bisacre, 01275 874 097.
