Customers enjoyed a spec-tacular event at Fort Kinnaird, as Specsavers launched its brand new store.
The launch party, held on Saturday, 18 April, included a fashion show in conjunction with New Look, with staff modelling the season’s sunglasses range along with the latest fashions.
Oompa-loompas were also present, handing out golden tickets to lucky customers offering money off designer frames.
Staff and customers also enjoyed a photo-booth, DJ, face-painting, a balloon modeller and piper and drummer welcoming customers to the new store.
And the celebrations didn't stop there.
To mark the opening, staff hosted an in-store raffle in aid of the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS), offering the chance to win a signed top from Andy Murray.
Tracy Galloway, retail director at Specsavers Edinburgh, says: ‘We are thrilled that our launch event attracted so many of our loyal customers from our previous base in ASDA, The Jewel, while encouraging new customers to come in and see our new store.
‘I hope our customers enjoyed the event as much as we did, and look forward to seeing more new faces pop into the store and experience our state of the art optical and hearing facilities.’
