The team at Specsavers in Chatham went to Rochester to support the Guide Dogs for the Blind Fair during National Eye Health Week.
Guide dogs join Specsavers
Staff were joined by puppies who were in training, including Guide Dogs representative Hetal Bapodra who brought her dog, eight-year-old Nessi.
Specsavers Chatham corporate & PR supervisor, Yve Dixon says: ‘We were keen to promote National Eye Health week by talking to people about the importance of eye examinations.
Promoting a worthwhile charity
‘It was great that we could join Guide Dogs for the Blind and promote the charity as well, as they do fantastic work supporting those who are blind and partially-sighted. Despite the bad weather, we feel we were able to engage a lot of people and are looking forward to seeing more visitors to Specsavers as a result.’
