Specsavers Stirling is showing its support for Strathcarron Hospice by running different fundraising initiatives over Christmas.

From now until Christmas, when you visit the store, you’ll be able to purchase a range of Strathcarron Hospice Christmas Cards, 2017 Diaries and Specsavers Glasses Cleaning Kits.

You’ll also have the opportunity to win a Christmas Hamper filled with goodies kindly donated by Bennetts Butchers in Dunblane and the staff at Specsavers Stirling.

£1 from every cleaning kit will be donated to the Hospice along with all of the proceeds from the card and diary sales as well as Christmas Hamper raffle.

Continued support

Susanne Akil, store director, said: ‘We are keen to continue our support for Strathcarron Hospice and it’s valuable work. We have been fundraising for the charity throughout the year and wanted to raise extra funds to support them at Christmas time.

‘We hope that customers and passers-by will continue to support us as we try to raise as much money as possible. Make sure you pop in soon if you want to support this great cause, and be in the running for a fabulous prize at the same time.’

Strathcarron Hospice

The store is a longstanding supporter of Strathcarron Hospice and last year it hosted quarterly fundraisers throughout the year to raise vital funds, whilst promoting awareness of the work the hospice carries out. This work includes special palliative care services, as well as home visits across Forth Valley, Cumbernauld and Kilsyth.

Claire Macdonald, Business Development Fundraiser at Strathcarron Hospice added:

“The team at Specsavers Stirling are great supporters of Strathcarron and we’re delighted to hear they’re hoping to raise funds for us this festive season. We simply couldn’t provide the care and support we do if it wasn’t for the help and support of our local community and we’re so grateful to the Specsavers team for their continued support.”
