Falmouth optician goes to great lengths for the RNLI
On Sunday 12 June Falmouth store director, Paul McGrane, is taking part in the Falmouth Castle to Castle swim in aid of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
The Castle to Castle Swim is a one mile open water swim across the mouth of the River Fal. Paul will be joined by colleague Steve Morris, store director in Newquay, as he takes on the challenge. The pair will set off from Pendennis Castle in Falmouth and finish at the St Mawes Castle on the Roseland peninsular.
A word from the director
Store director, Paul McGrane, said: ‘It’ll be a challenge but Steve and I have trained hard and are as ready as we’ll ever be. The RNLI is a charity that we are always pleased to support because of the valuable and lifesaving work that they do in the local area.’
