Excellent engagement with younger patients

A Falkirk customer has praised staff at her local store after receiving excellent customer service during a visit with her five-year-old daughter.

The customer contacted the Falkirk store due to a recurring problem with her daughter’s eye and was booked in for an appointment that same day.

Upbeat and enthusiastic staff

She said: ‘My daughter’s eye examination was carried out by Douglas Allison. He was great, really upbeat and enthusiastic, and professional at the same time.

‘My daughter stayed calm throughout the eye test and enjoyed the experience. This was surprising for a five-year-old who is usually unsure of letting people near her when something is wrong. She already cannot wait to come back for her check-up, which is amazing.

‘It is a great asset to the store to have staff that engage so well with children.’

Store director at Specsavers in Falkirk, Zander McNaughton, says: ‘I am thrilled our staff and their excellent customer service made such a great impression on this customer and her young daughter.’

‘We know it can be difficult to keep young children engaged during an eye test which is why we ensure we do all we can to put them at ease and make the experience interesting for them while conducting a thorough check of their eye health.’
