Falkirk raises more than £800 for charity
The local opticians has raised more than £800 for charities and good causes in the past year.
Specsavers in Falkirk held a number of fundraising events in 2016, with proceeds donated to Strathcarron Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Holding fantastic fundraisers
The store held a Macmillan coffee morning to raise funds for the charity and also raffled a number of fantastic prizes, including a pair of hearing aids worth £2,000, in aid of Strathcarron Hospice during the store’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
Zander McNaughton, store director of Specsavers in Falkirk, said: ‘We are delighted to have raised such a fantastic amount for two vital causes this year.
‘We raised more than £620 for Strathcarron Hospice alone. This money will help the hospice to cover its running costs and enable it to continue its incredible work.’
