Sudbury and Felixstowe Specsavers recently showcased their services with special hearing days for charity, which included a leg wax to raise funds for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
Ear wax removals
Over the course of the special hearing days last week, Specsavers in Sudbury and Felixstowe received a visit from the Specsavers big ear mascot and hosted a charity leg wax to announce their new wax removal services.
The stores showcased their unparalleled service with on-site hearing centres managed by audiologist Westly Fox and a team of highly trained staff, boasting hi-tech facilities and top-of-the-range equipment.
Why come in store?
Highlighting the importance of taking a proactive approach to hearing health, audiologist Westly Fox said: ‘Our hearing days are a great chance for everyone to come in store and see what we have to offer, as well as find out more about hearing loss, which affects everyone eventually.
‘Untreated hearing loss can affect every aspect of life, leading to depression and social isolation, which is why early diagnosis is key. Regular hearing checks should be part of everyone’s healthcare routine and we recommend that people over the age of 55 get a hearing test every year.
‘We at Specsavers Felixstowe and Sudbury encourage and welcome anyone who has concerns about their hearing to visit us in store to have a chat, so they can take the first step in tackling hearing loss.’
