Team members from Specsavers in Oswestry have recently been praised for their outstanding levels of service by a customer that came in store for an eye test.

Mr Clay wrote:

‘I booked in for an eye test and was greeted with a smile by Tom. I was directed to Ross who went through my details and performed initial tests. He was courteous, friendly and very professional and made me feel at ease whilst I waited. 

‘The optometrist made me feel very welcome too and was very attentive. She answered all my questions and explained things simply. I was very impressed with the whole experience. 

‘I started to look at the glasses and Tom was present to offer advice. We came back into the store later on and he knew exactly which glasses I had been looking at and found them for me straight away. He had even looked for similar styles whilst we were out for lunch. Tom also interacted with my 19-month-old son and made him laugh a few times. Fantastic to walk into a store that welcomes all ages!

‘Tom was honest about how the glasses looked on me and went through the costs involved of thinning out the lenses. His knowledge and understanding seemed very good and he explained all the benefits to having this done.

‘I walked away feeling very happy with every aspect of my time in store. Both Tom and Ross are a credit to Specsavers and I would like you to personally thank them for their excellent interpersonal skills and overall service.

‘Thank you again for all those who served me.’
