Comic Relief in the frame
Visitors to Specsavers in Evesham would have seen red on Friday (24 March) as the team hosted their own fundraising day for Comic Relief.
Staff dressed up in red and sold the official Red Nose Day comedy specs, raising more than £400 for the cause.
The team encouraged those who bought the specs to strike a pose with their glasses and post the picture on social media with #GiveUsAWave.
Amy Liau, store director at Specsavers in Evesham, said: ‘We had a great Red Nose Day supporting Comic Relief and want to say a big thank you to everyone who made a donation or who purchased the specs.’
Specsavers supported Comic Relief to help poor and vulnerable people living tough lives both here in the UK and across Africa and pledged to raise at least £250,000 for the charity.
Specsavers has been a Comic Relief partner since 2015.
