Eggs for eye test supports children in hospital
The team at Specsavers in Redditch is offering free sight tests for customers who bring in an Easter egg – so that the Easter bunny has plenty of supplies for the children at Alexandra Hospital, Redditch.
The store is running the initiative from Saturday 19 March until Easter Saturday, when the collected eggs will be taken to the hospital and distributed among the patients on the children’s ward. Customers booking in a sight test during this time can waive the fee, by simply bringing in an Easter egg.
‘This is the second year we’ve run this initiative and it is a great way to give something back at Easter,’ said store director, Sarah Wright. ‘Hopefully plenty of people will take us up on the offer to ensure the Easter bunny has plenty of eggs to go round when he visits the hospital!’
