Specsavers stores across Edinburgh are getting behind Glaucoma Awareness Week.
Around 4,500 people across the city are living with the condition, which is one of the largest causes of blindness in the world.
You can find out more about glaucoma and its causes, symptoms and risk factors here.
Working together to make a difference
Craig Daker, Edinburgh store director, said: ‘We recognise that early detection can be key when it comes to treating glaucoma and that is why stores across the city are joining together to support Glaucoma Awareness Week and remind people why it’s so important to have regular eye tests.’
Specsavers recommends you have your eyes tested once every two years or more often if advised by a health professional.
