With summer on the horizon, Specsavers are launching their first ever range of non-prescription sunglasses, featuring significant discounts for contact lens users.
The fashion forward collection features styles from designer brands including Karl Lagerfeld, Cheap Monday and Max & Co., with frames costing from £99 to £149. Shoppers purchasing contact lenses at Specsavers can make savings of up to 43% off the price of non-prescription sunglasses.
Susan McIntosh, store director of Specsavers Shandwick Place, said: ‘For a while now our customers have asked us if we planned to stock non-prescription versions of our sunglasses range, which until now could only be sold with prescription lenses.
Contact lenses are a real focus for Specsavers this year so it made sense for us to combine the two and reward our contact lens customers with discounts on the new sunglasses collections. Now shoppers who don’t need a prescription will also be able to pick up the latest designer sunglasses at Specsavers.’
