The Newcastle-under-Lyme team has unveiled an innovative new piece of equipment set to improve its already excellent customer service.

The ‘Robotic Edger’ can repair or create glasses lens in under an hour, and up to 160 lens creation jobs every eight hours.

The Castle Walk store’s latest installation will increase the number of orders the store can process in a day as well as speeding up the process for customers.

Time-saving tech

Store manager Michelle Lewis, was very excited about the new machine, said: ‘It’s an incredible piece of equipment and it will be perfect to help our customers quickly and efficiently.’

‘They would be able to come in with their prescription, pop out for a coffee and collect the finished or repaired lens in no time and at no extra cost.’
