Specsavers in Sainsbury's on the Gallagher Retail Park has donated more than £80 to local charity, Family Space after asking the community to donate chocolate eggs in the lead up to Easter.

The store asked the residents of Cheltenham to donate Easter Eggs to be used as tombola prizes to raise funds for Family Space, which supports disadvantaged families in the local area.

‘Family Space does brilliant work in the local community and we’ve been supporting the charity for a while now,’ said store director Melanie Brackstone.

‘We’re delighted to make this donation and hope the proceeds continue to support the charity’s efforts in Cheltenham and the surrounding areas.

‘Thank you to all our generous customers who donated Easter Eggs for the cause - we really appreciate your support.’
