Budding Picassos in Inverness have been submitting colourful egg designs in a bid to win an Easter hamper from a local opticians.

Specsavers Inverness held an Easter colouring competition for youngsters and five-year-old Max Rankin was chosen for his winning design.

Max recently visited the opticians to collect his prize of an Easter hamper packed with chocolates, sweets and a cuddly toy bunny from store manager Andrea Farrelly.

Andrea said: ‘We love to see the colourful creations that kids make at our craft table in store and it was great to offer a chocolatey treat for our winning Easter design this year. Congratulations Max.’
